Real winter. It’s brutal. Growing up in Phoenix, I would only get snippets of the cold when I’d visit relatives in Northern Arizona but living in this city, I know what cold is and I don’t like it. Is it really necessary to be this cold? Does the wind need to go right through your body? I got so cold today walking the few blocks from brunch to the bus stop that it took me hours, HOURS, to finally warm up. That’s partly due to my half broken heaters but still, it wasn’t fun. I miss the warm winters of Arizona, I won’t lie. But alas, I am here, for at least another winter, so I will bundle up and deal, just like other people do all over the world, and in colder climates. I’ll try not to complain but the wind in NYC-well it’s a killer.
